Dr. Caplan has been lecturing for more than 30 years on the topics of childhood psychosis and pediatric epilepsy. She has received numerous awards in recognition of her work, including the Distinguished Research Mentor Award of the Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Distinguished Educator Award at UCLA. She is the chair of the Epilepsy Foundation of America Steering Committee on Mood Disorders in Children with Epilepsy and the NINDS/NIMH Committee on Pediatric Nonepileptic Seizures.

Dr. Kaminer is an internationally recognized expert in adolescent substance abuse treatment and adolescent high risk behaviors. He has been lecturing for nearly 30 years on the treatment of adolescent substance abuse. Dr. Lock is an expert in the field of eating disorders. He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally, and has been NIH funded to research in eating disorders continuously since 1997. Dr. McCracken has been the principal investigator of numerous studies funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Research Center. His current areas of research include family-genetic studies of childhood disorders and the testing of new pharmacologic treatments for a variety of neuropsychiatric disorders in children, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders.
Dr. McCracken has published more than 200 book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles in the area of child psychiatry. Dr. Neubauer, a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, is a frequent lecturer, and the author of numerous journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts. Dr. Pliszka has been lecturing on the psychopharmacology of child and adolescent disorders for more than 15 years. His research has focused on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related disorders and has been involved with clinical trials for most of the medications used to treat ADHD. Since 2008, he has directed Services Uniting Pediatrics and Psychiatry Outreaching to Texas (SUPPORT) a state-funded initiative to integrate mental health services into pediatric primary care.
Dr. Pliszka is the author of Neuroscience for the Mental Health Clinician and Treating ADHD and Comorbid Disorders. He has also been very active in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, authoring the academy’s practice parameters for the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD.

Dr. Radwan is an accomplished educator and researcher. He has authored several articles published in JAACAP and been an investigator in several large clinical trials, such as CATIE and CAPTN-SSRI.
