Katharine Phillips, MD
Dr. Katharine Phillips is a renowned expert in body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and related conditions, such as olfactory reference syndrome (ORS) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). With over 30 years of experience, she has conducted groundbreaking research on BDD, providing expert evaluation and treatment for individuals with these conditions. Currently serving as Professor of Psychiatry, DeWitt Wallace Senior Scholar, and Residency Research Director at Weill Cornell Medicine, and an Attending Psychiatrist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
A distinguished physician, scientist, and educator, she graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School and completed her psychiatry residency at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
