Central Coast Trips from Santa Barbara, Location of the Oasis 2024 Psychiatry Conference

One of the joys of my job is hosting the Oasis Conferences. We have a few rules to ensure all the Oasis Conferences have a similar ‘feel’ to them. One rule is that our conference hotel is always right by the water, by the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico. As you see from the first photo below our Oasis 2024 Psychiatry Conference is being held at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort.

Although the conference hotel location is awesome and downtown Santa Barbara is within walking distance, additional adventures await right outside Santa Barbara – along the coast, in the coastal mountains, and in the picturesque towns, horse farms, and vineyards along the way.

If you plan to attend the Oasis 2024 Psychiatry Conference – and I hope you do – please consider adding one, two, or three days to your trip – however long you can swing. Then you can take greater advantage of your trip – since you’ll already be there – by traveling and engaging the nearby sights. From my personal experience, I can tell you that you won’t regret it.

The photos below are from my travels around Santa Barbara from 2018 when we held our Oasis Psychiatry Conference there that year. We are returning for the Oasis 2024 Psychiatry Conference to the exact same hotel, so these photos are just as relevant now.

In a later post, I’ll provide more photos and recommendations for locations further from Santa Barbara, in case you have more days for travel, relaxation, and sightseeing.
